Torsten meets his colleagues

I just had an idea. 
Why not take very first pictures of my characters and redraw them? Because I wanted to see how much I improved for some years and compare how my characters looked like when I drew them for the first time and their current design.

Hehe, I'm talking about this atrocity. But it's not the original picture, by the way. I redrew it in February, 2012, but it's not hard to think: that redrawing was still bad.  I'm afraid to show the original 2010 picture. It's extremely horrible. 

And yes, the original picture was the first concept for my story. The characters came to my mind spontaneously. At that time I was watching this well-known film. No doubt, I was inspired of this, and some things came to my mind and made me think: I just need to create my story! 

By the way, this film has nothing to do with the WW2 theme. I think some of my watchers can guess what film I mean.

Heinrich and Torsten were already created by me in 2006, I took them from my another abandoned story. Ustas and Matias were created just while watching the film.

On this picture I decided to portray Torsten meeting another characters for the first time. He is rather surprised when he realised that he had to be a kriminalsekretaer of this creepy-looking one-eyed short man (Ustas).
